MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish in GOLD DEPOSIT

My absolute favourite skinfinish from of the MAC minerlize range, it's definitely versatile. This is a blush that gives more than what it shows! Glitterly shimmer touches to the cheeks giving a nice glow yet not looking asthough glitter has been smacked on the face. The glitter is more or of shimmer i should say and it's definately a package to go with a night out or everyday look. This highlighter needs to be used wisely as Sarita quotes 'A little goes a long way' if too much is applied your face can look orange. I wouldnt class this as a bronzer its almost a whole face shimmer powder as it can give a nice glow everywere around the face such as on the forehead and chin. Its also perfect if you use this as a contour seeming as though it gives such an eligant finish. I have had this skinfinish for almost 5 months and used it as a daily bases however i havent hit pan yet which is great.
MAC Gold Deposit in its packaging

This is the MAC skinfish opened, as you can see there is a burst of goldness however ive been reading reviews and have taken in that a lot of blogger/reviews have said that this is too glittery and that it not worth it. I believe from using this that Gold Deposit should not be underestimated as it delievers a beautiful look. Its not chunky on the face what so ever as long as you blend properly.

Pro's
  • Suitable for everyday wear
  • Mind blowing results, glowy and professional looking
  • A little goes a long way!
  • Last's a very long time
  • Lightweight
Con's
  • Can be messy for people who dont know how to blend it properly
  • Could be classed as being pricey
  • Very rich colour so you have to use it wisely
  • Fragile so if broken it could leave a big mess!

Product Review: MAC MatchMaster SPF 15 Foundation!

As a MAC-A-Holic I must say that this foundation lives up to expections, it is said to be a "New Foundation technology using translucent pigments to enable a fully personalized finish influenced by the subtleties of your own skin's undertone". This foundation works like magic for skin and is something I'd completely recommend to anyone! The foundation gives a moisturizing demi-matte finish and looks amazing and doesn't give a plasticated look, which I personally stay away from and prefer my foundation to look as natural as possible.
I am in the Shade 0.4
When I purchased my foundation at the MAC concession at House of Fraser (UK Department store) there were only 7 shades to choose from and since then there have been more shades added on the MAC website, now being 14 shades to pick from. The bottle itself looked quite big to me compared to my Studio Fix Fluid foundation, being because this foundation comes as a 35ml (1.8 US Fl Oz) bottle. Depending on your skin type would help to know how much product you would have to use when applying the foundation. I have Oily skin and find it blends into my skin very well, but due to Winter time I have some dry areas on which the foundation can dry on if not blended in straight away.

Pro's
  • Not too expensive compared to other brands like Dior, Chanel ect.. And is priced at £24.50
  • Comes with a pump and no need to purchase one seperately.
  • Blends in easily if done properly,
  • A lot of product.
  • Makes a good Christmas Gift
Con's
  • Not all concessions/ stores may have all shades.
  • Can be seen as Pricey.
  • Not ideal for Dry Skin (in my opinion)

Rimmel's Wear Maxx Nail Polish

This is a must have Nail polish that every girl should have in her collection! When I first saw this product it immediantly grabbed my attention by the range of various colours Rimmel had to offer. However, after purchasing this product, going home and researching I found that I had bought one of the most popular colours from the collection which is called 391 Celebrity Bash.
The picture above shows the nailvanish on my nails. To get the exact same colour on your nails one two coats are needed. In person the actual colour is slightly darker due to the flash of the camera has made the colour in the image look more Red than Maroon. Also this colour is great for all seasons but espiecally winter as it shows off a warm frosty look. The colour reminds me off the singer Rihanna as she wears shades like this alot.

Above Singer Rihanna pictured wearing
a similar colour.

This cherry colour must be purchased by every girl in the World!

Pro's
  • Colour can be worn in any seasons.
  • Looks beautiful on all skin types
  • Rich colour
  • Not many coats needed
  • Long lasting/ doesnt chip easily
  • Glosyy/shiny finish
  • Inexpensive
  • Popular shade/colour
Con's
  • Can take a while to dry up as its a rich and thick constancy
  • If the brush is not cared and used properly this could cause the nail vanish to turn clumpy

Rimmel - Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick

First of all I'd like to say this product was definitely worth bragging about to everyone I know. I purchased it a few days and fell in love with the lipstick since I saw the advert for it on TV. I bought the shade 12 Rossetto Rouge and I would describe it as a tangy pink with a hint of peach. It gives a natural finish and something which anyone could pull off.

The lipstick itself is very lasting and with a touch of loose powder can go the extra mile. The longest time it has lasted me has been about 3-4 hours and has always managed to leave a tint of colour on my lips and has never completely come off.

 Pro's
  • Long Lasting
  • Unique shades
  • Timeless look
  • Natural Finish
  • Good Price ( £5.49 UK Boots Retailer price)
  Con's
  • Only 7 shades to choose from.
  • As seen in image above not enough product(but still worth purchase) as a little goes a long way.
  • Not all stores sell all shades  (e.g. Tesco's only sell 3 shades).
Rating out of 5 : 4/5 A product every girl must have!!
